VETERAN RESOURCE CENTERS
Student veterans are a unique population, with unique needs.
In recognition of this fact, Sentinels of Freedom works with institutions of higher learning and corporate partners to help develop, launch, and provide materials for Student Veteran Resource Centers (SVRC’s) across the country.
SVRC’s offer a physical and emotional “safe space” for veterans to connect, share, and support each other in a calm, quiet environment (particularly important for veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder and/or traumatic brain injury.) Additionally, SVRC’s provide easy access to other resources and materials available to veterans.

“I’m extremely grateful for the opportunity to be a Sentinel. The financial assistance from the program is truly appreciated and has aided me tremendously in recharging for the upcoming semester. Without it, I would have worked two jobs over break.”
